RECA April 2019 - Coworking Lunch Recording
Published by Real Estate Council of Austin

Coworking spaces provide those who don't have a consistent and convenient place to work with a new, appealing option instead of the traditional coffee shops or internet cafes of the past.

Since the first locations sprouted up around 2007, the industry has expanded rapidly across the United States and Austin. Recent research shows that while there were only 14 coworking spaces in the U.S. in 2007, today there are more than 4,500 — a year-over-year growth rate of more than 20 percent. Many believe this growth will continue for the foreseeable future and will have a dramatic impact on traditional work spaces.

This RECA luncheon featured leaders in this booming industry sharing their perspectives and insights about the phenomenon.
